It’s the time of year when far-flung relatives makes exciting plans to gather together to enjoy the meaning and closeness that comes with the holidays. And in our experience, it’s not at all uncommon for brides-to-be to take advantage of that opportunity (and thoughtfully save on their loved ones’ travel expenses) to plan ahead for a Winter Wedding.

Combining classic tonal roses with the greenery of brightly contrasting holly leaves and accompanying red berries results in a sweetly traditional presentation that is perfect for a Christmas wedding.
Or perhaps the happy couple is on the hunt for something a bit more modern – like our “Red Square” wedding cake.
Taking a cue from Santa, this bright white fondant-covered, square-tiered design adds colorful red ribbons at the base of each tier and shows off artistically-placed clutches of red, red roses.
Of course, silver is yet another sign of the season (think Silver Bells) – and it’s hard for a bride to go wrong with ‘gift packages’ of metallic silver on a traditional white backdrop.
What fun to ‘unwrap’ (read: cut into!) this seemingly random placement of wedding gifts adorned with ribbons and flourishes! Creativity doesn’t end with the finishing touches, though, as the cake and fillings can be designed to add to the surprises held inside.
