All Las Vegas Cakes

This mischievous little darling is a star, just waiting to happen. The setting for her big debut is a combination of two tiers - one rectangle, one round - done up in pure white. The sides of both tiers are covered in a superb bit of hand-crafted pink crocheted lace. This intricate and delicate "needlework" is fashioned into a dainty scallop design, and accented by a simple finespun bow. An understated row of hand-piped ruffle follows the dips in the scallop pattern and also edges the base of each tier. The baby blanket atop the cake is a soft rustling of pink and white stripes, also edged with the pink airy lace, and a ruffle of white on the edge.
