We can’t really agree with the old saying that boys are all about “Snakes and Snails and Puppydog Tails” – because here at our bakery, we make cakes that are waaaaaay cooler than any of those things for the ‘birthday boys’ in our town.

In our experience, boys have far loftier ambitions – and most of them involve cars, like the above Lightning McQueen from “Cars.” Or “The Big Red Car” from Wiggles – or both! Or neither! In fact, it seems  just the appearance of a racetrack all on its own can elicit delight for the young racing fans.

Then again, there’s a lot more to the rich full life that little boys experience. Think: Construction! If it involves tools or ‘heavy equipment’ – you can bet it’s also something that your young carpenter will enjoy.

But we think most of our up-and-coming men-to-be have their heart set on becoming someone who embraces a little bit of all these hobbies – plus an extra set of, oh, let’s just say “super-human powers!” And who can blame them? It’s just a matter of which Super Hero bests them all (and as we all know, that’s certainly a matter of personal belief).

No matter who your “Little Man” aspires to be, though, you can ensure that their birthday celebration is as daring and exciting as he and all his friends (real and imaginary) anticipate!
