Minecraft is an Xbox Live Arcade game. The creative and building aspects of Minecraft allow players to build constructions out of textured cubes in a 3D procedurally generated world. Other activities in the game include exploration, gathering resources, crafting, and combat. Gameplay in its commercial release has two principal modes: survival, which requires players to acquire resources and maintain their health and hunger; and creative, where players have an unlimited supply of resources, and the ability to fly. Here we see Steve, a character in a "nao sei" skin, and a member of the passive pig mob. As is typical in a Minecraft setting, everything is built of textured cubes - the landscape, the characters, the trees. Thos cubes made of "Rice Krispie Treats" look pretty tempting, by the way. All of this has been constructed by our specialty designers for Joey's birthday. Let's hope we can tear him away from "Minecraft" long enough to celebrate the event!
