This design for the "younger" set combines two themes - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Batman. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been wildly popular, worldwide, since their creation in 1984, in Dover, New Hampshire. They originated as a comic book, and have been a part of American culture since that time, in many iterations: comic books, video games, TV series, films, and merchandising. Batman has been known around the world as a superhero since his beginnings as a D.C. comic in 1939. While it may seem odd to combine them in this work, the TMNT and Batman possess the same ethics and fight crime for basically the same reasons. So perhaps it isn't so strange, after all, that they should team up to make Benny's 4th birthday one to remember. Someone has sent the sign for Batman into the night sky, calling for his assistance, and the TMNT are also on their way, up out of the sewers where they hide. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with Batman" will make Benny's birthday special, indeed.
