Awww! What could be cuter than this little fellow? A single round tier in palest blue, bound by a ribbon band at the base, and embellished with triads of dots of white, blue, and turquoise all around the side. Resting atop this frothy concoction is a charming and precocious baby, peeking out from under a soft cuddly baby blanket, anxious to make his debut. A baby carriage cruises around the edges of this work, and there are safety pins and other accoutrements of “baby-hood” are also used to great effect in this piece. The anticipation and love embodied here is clear, and the proclamation on top announces to all present that “It’s a Boy!”
