Mickey Mouse & Friends
Let’s face it. Some kids are just ‘raised Disney.’ Goodness knows there’s plenty of good reasons to be a Disney fan. Just think back on all the fun Walt has added to so many aspects of our growing up – from short cartoons to full-length animated feature films, blockbuster movies, nature documentaries, and we certainly can’t forget about Disneyland (or the various Disney Worlds everywhere)!
Considered the most recognizable symbol on earth, simply a glimpse of Mickey’s ears brings back a rush of smiles, fond memories, and anticipation of the fun to come – which is certainly what your child will experience as soon as they see their birthday cake!
Or what the heck, let’s bring a bunch of Mickey’s friends along for the party! The addition of Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and the rest of the gang is sure to enhance any celebration. These are, after all, characters who know how to have a good time.
Although in all fairness, it is only right that special homage be paid to the love of Mickey’s life – and having Minnie’s contagious smile around makes any event one that is worth attending.
When you stop to think about it, there’s no doubt that Uncle Walt, forever a kid at heart, added layers and dimensions to our lives that we probably don’t even realize (until we come across a symbol of his legacy – which pretty much happens just about every day!). But one thing is for certain: He brought us smiles and happiness, and for that – we’ll never forget him!
