Purple has long been considered the definitive color for royalty; other connotations are wisdom, spirituality. Black represents sophistication, elegance, power, mystery, and even sexuality. Put these two together, and you have something special, indeed. This large single-tier design is covered in purple, then liberally covered in abstract "flames" of deepest black.
