"Number Cakes" are currently all the rage for birthday and anniversary celebrations.In this design, two separate tiers, shaped to display "60" are iced in purest white, then hand-decorated with ornate flourishes and curlicues in rich gold.Each numeral is bound by a strand of shiny gold beads at the base; large, elegant roses (in white to match the numbers) are brushed with a restrained touch of gold dust, and artfully placed in strategic locations, framing the figures.They say age is just a number, but when the numbers are as elegant and dignified as these, surely they will be welcome!
