This grandiose design is obviously for someone of great importance! The large square base tier is ornamented with a traditional Greek design, executed in blue, and supports the middle and top tiers which are constructed to emulate one of the ancient Greek temples which were built for the gods. Fluted columns surround the second tier. The top tier is surrounded by a wreath of golden leaves, and marked with the “Double K” logo, for the celebrant. Gold bands surround the bases of the middle and bottom tiers, and a white ribbon displays the name of the guest of honor in blue. “The Glory of Ancient Greece” is homage to the civilization that influenced much of the modern western world in government, sports, and art, not to mention architecture. Konstantine will, no doubt, be greatly honored.
