1897 – North Las Vegas Police Dept
This beauty, in patriotic red, white, and blue, is simply perfect for a celebration denoting someone making it onto the North Las Vegas Police Department, after graduation from the academy (not a mean feat), someone retiring from the same department, or celebrating an anniversary on the force. A detailed representation of the shield for the department is meticulously executed in silver and blue, atop a likeness of "Old Glory", waving in the breeze. The badge incorporates many of the same symbols used on the state seal of Nevada, including Hoover dam, and the sun rising over the Sierra Nevada range. The police department of the City of North Las Vegas has a proud history, dating back to 1946, and this design is ideal for anyone on the force, formerly on the force, or just starting out.
