There are few figures more iconic than Mickey Mouse. Since he was created in 1928, by Walt Disney himself, for the animated short "Steamboat Willie", he has entertained generations of children, around the world. It could be argued that Mickey Mouse was the beginning of everything "Disney" - in effect, responsible for the entire Disney empire. Here he is, surrounded by his girlfriend, Minnie, his best pals Donald (and girlfriend Daisy), Goofy, his faithful dog Pluto, Clarabelle, and even his nemesis, Pete. Primary colors are dominant in this work, as they are in the many of cartoon episodes. Bold red, blue, and yellow are offset by the unmistakable silhouette on the side of the top tier. Tufts of lush green grass are scattered about the design, softening the look and feel. Just imagine how thrilled any youngster (or simply someone who's remembered to be "young at heart") will be to have the assortment of characters in "Party with Mickey and Friends" present to help him/her to celebrate that special birthday!
