For the future ballerina! This charming study in shades of pink is every little dancer's dream. Three graduated round tiers combine to serve as a towering plinth in pink and white. The lower tier, in brilliant white is done up in a "quilted" motif, encircled by a broad ribbon band culminating in a fancy bow, then accented with tiny shiny pink beads. The middle tier in bright pink is ringed with a demure strand of white pearls and bears the name of the celebrant alongside her age.The uppermost tier is dressed in palest "prima ballerina" pink, echoing the quilted effect of the bottom tier, with contrasting white ribbon band repeating the lower tier's bow, and tiny white beads for accent. This tier serves as our dancer's "stage", and she performs solo here, "en pointe." Poetry in motion, indeed!
