Project Description

This design combines two elements that have become synonymous: Elvis and Las Vegas. Two round tiers, in complementing shades of blue, are stacked to form a stage for a classic photograph of Elvis, in his prime, from “Jailhouse Rock.” The movie was released by MGM in 1957, and the dance sequence to the film’s title song is widely acclaimed as “Presley’s greatest moment on screen”. It is certainly one of the most commonly utilized routines by scores of Elvis impersonators who perform in various venues in Las Vegas to this very day. The prominent placement of the depiction of the famous “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign further establishes the link between these two iconic symbols, and for any fan, the selection of this piece will be a sure-fire hit.
