1661 – Mickey Romper

Bringing home a new baby is such an exciting time! Everything else pales as the new member of the family gets the lion's share of attention. This design in red, white, and blue, is full of hopes and dreams for this little one. It's clear that there are aspirations in the direction of sports, here - there are representations of balls from three different sports present: baseball, football, and basketball. The large single rectangular tier is edged in a red trim at the base, and a blue trim around the surface of the cake. Beads of red, white, and blue dot the top surface. There are baby booties, and bottles, and taking the focal point is a red "romper" with a familiar face on it. The romper has blue and white striped trim, and the entire garment is outlined in red beads. The facsimile of Mickey's face need no explanation or introduction. After all, when this little guy wins his first championship game, and he's asked during an after-game interview "What are you going to do now?" he'll certainly say "I'm going to Disneyland!" This is a lot of expectation to live up to, but then again, "Mickey Romper" might just inspire him to have that big a dream!
