Is there any other celebration so memorable as a child's first birthday? At these events, the celebrant is most definitely the "star of the show", so why not also invest him as "King for a Day"? A large round tier in royal blue (of course) is ringed by a strand of large luminescent beads in blue, white, and gold. A large royal "seal" is stamped on the cake, proclaiming the age of the young king, set off by a single string of white pearls. A golden crown perches atop this design, ornamented with beads of gold and tiny blue flowerets with golden bead centers. The initials of our temporary king are emblazoned on the side of the crown, in large blue letters. All hail the King! Long live the King!
